Butter Chicken, also known as Marhan Murg is a dish which originated from the Indian subcontinent. This mildly spiced tomato sauce offers a delicious base to be enjoyed with a side of rice.

There are several ingredients involved in the creation of Butter chicken, so make sure you have all these items before you begin cooking.
Method – 11 Steps on How To Make Butter Chicken Curry
Step 1. In a frying pan, add the 100g of butter and let it melt in the pan.
Step 2. Once the butter has melted, slowly add in 1 cup of flour. Make sure to stir it in as you go.
Step 3. As the butter and flour begin to thicken, pour the milk into the mixture. Again, don’t forget to stir it through.
Step 4. Once these ingredients have been stirred in together, its time to add the curry powder.
Step 5. To reduce the thickness of this new paste, add a cup of water to thin it out. Make sure there are no lumps as it begins to thin.
Step 6. In a separate pot, bring to heat and add olive oil.
Step 7. Dice the onion and throw it into the pan.
Step 8. Once the onion is golden brown, it’s time to add the chicken and mixed veggies.
Step 9. Once this is all mixed through, the cause is now ready to be added in with the chicken, onion and veggies.
Step 10. Place the lid back on top of the pot, and leave it to cook for another 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Step 11. Take it off the fire, let it sit for 2 minutes and serve it up. Add some rice, bread or nan to the meal if you would help filling out the meal.
