Explore Eli Creek, Fraser Island Camping
Fraser Island is massive, in fact, it’s the largest sand island in the world. Its eastern beach stretches over 120km north to south. Its world Heritage-listed has some incredible natural beauty and is rich in history, Let’s go take a look!
We are leaving Eurong Beach Resort and making our way up the beach to check out many of the islands natural wonders. Our First stop is Eli Creek. Eli Creek is a great spot to cool off on a hot day, a great place to wash the salt off your body and your car’s body. At low tide the crossing is easy but as the tide rises it can prove to be slightly more difficult. Not a bad place to get stranded though.
One of the fun things to do here is to take a lie low or an inflatable toy or boogie board and just float all the way down. Then hit the walkway and do it all again. Eli Creek is just one of the many natural wonders on Fraser Island and over the course of the next few weeks on Campr we will check plenty more out thanks to our mates at ARB. Lift Kits, Diff Locks, Suspension, Bull Bars, Carrying Systems you’ll find it all at your local ARB store.
Don’t forget to check out Episode 26 of the Campr series for your guide to Eli Creek and camping on Fraser Island.
