It’s the 1st of December which means Summer is here! With International borders closed, Campr is here to help you navigate all the best things to do at home this summer. So, pack up the swag, fuel up the car, and strap in as we help you explore the great Summer Of Aus!

We know how hard it can be to think of things to do in Brisbane that’s not just chilling in the aircon or down at the beach using copious amounts of sunscreen. Pack your bag with plenty of water, don’t forget to slip slop slap and check out our list of things to do.

#1 Lace-up the hiking boots and visit one of the Glasshouse Mountains to get active.

#3 Stop and smell the flowers at the Kooroomba Lavender Farm just an hour and a half from Brisbane.

#4 Get in touch with your inner Tarzan and swing from the trees at the Treetop Challenge in the Gold Coast Hinterlands.

#5 Load up the car with your beach gear and spend some time out on Moreton Island! If you’ve got a 4WD it’s an excellent drive along the beach to get your own area to chill out!

#6 Hang out at Tangalooma Resort and enjoy some of the activities they offer! Feed wild dolphins, Sand Toboggan, Quad Bike tours and more.  

#7 Become an explorer and see what kind of marine life are swimming by the old Shipwrecks on Moreton Island on a clear bottom kayak.

#8 After enjoying a busy day on Moreton, head over to the “world-famous” Gutter Bar and pig out on their delicious food. 

#9 If you want to hang out with your favourite furry friend head on over to North Stradbroke Island! There’s plenty of fun walks, water to swim and run around in!

#10 Just a couple hours from Brissy are the incredible Queen Mary Falls.

#11 For full 360 views, Mt Coolum is perfect for a sunrise hike! 

#12 Get your fourbie ready! The Scenic Rim Adventure Park is a fantastic place to go offroading in SE QLD.

#13 Pack the floaties, your picnic blankets, and get ready to cool off at Somerset Dam! If you’ve got a boat, it’s a perfect place to try out some tubing or water skiing!

#14 If you’re after a relaxed beachy vibe then Bribie Island is the place to go!

#15 Relax and take the time to slow down in Toowoomba.

#17 Wander down the main street of Montville, visit cute little boutiques and locals favourites such as the Clock Shop and the delicious fudge shop, Fudgyboombahs.
