Champagne Pools

Say Cheers at Champagne Pools Fraser Island! The Champagne pools are one of Fraser Island’s biggest attractions. It brings people from all over Australia and the world flooding to Fraser to experience the bubbling fun of Champagne pools. The pools on Fraser’s eastern beaches are found between Waddy Point and Indian Head, making for a great day trip on the island.

Champagne Pools are an exciting location

Campr Host Dean Miller says the bubbly Champagne Pools are a great natural wonder to check out while on fraser island. “This is a pretty special spot at Champagne Pools… The natural rock walls of the pool stand in the path of crashing waves which explode and then overflow into the pool, creating a type of effervescence that has you feeling like you’re in a giant SodaStream bottle,” Dean says.

Champagne Pools are safe for the whole family

Dean says its not a good idea to swim in the ocean on Fraser Island because of the amount of sharks around. “So, the Champagne pool [make for a] safe and fun swimming destination for the little kids and the big kids in your tribe,” he says. There are some great 4WDriving tracks to try on your way to Champagne Pools, depending where you are coming from and where you’re staying.
