Jetty Fishing, Evans Head

Evans Head local Grant, who hailed from Lismore originally has definitely got the touch when it comes to fishing. The jetty here at Evans Head is where all the locals gather for an afternoon of fishing.

Evans Head is also famous for its Caravan Park. One of the largest is a country with close to 600 sites and the location could not be any better. Aside from the Evans Head Caravan park, Evans head is also known for its Fishing. Grant shows us a beautiful cod he caught whilst out on the Jetty. These Cod are protected species in NSW and if taken home with you, you can be fined up to $3,000 on the spot. Which was news to us as Cod can be caught and eaten is Queensland, so be careful what you catch!

The Jetty at Evans Head offers a perfect spot for catching some beautifully sized Brim. The Evans Head Jetty is a great location as its only a short walk from the popular caravan park where you can set up camp. Reflections Holiday Park is super popular because of its size, along with its access to the beach. And if you’re planning a holiday down to the Evans head reflections holiday park, you can get the Jayco Journey, available from Brisbane Camperland.
