After being stuck inside for months, we’re all looking for ways to stretch out our travel time in 2021 to get outside and explore. There’s plenty of great places in Aus to visit that you may not have even considered nearby or just a short trip away.

Even if you take three days off we know how to turn those three annual leave days into 10.

December 2020

Though most of your leave has probably been booked in already but if you can this is the best hack so you can get 10 days off for the price of 3!

Book three leave days on December 29th, 30th and 31st.

January 2021

If December wasn’t enough and you still want a break or you didn’t get December off, you can book 4 days off and get 9!

Book leave on January 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th and you’ll get from the 23rd to the 31st off!

Jim Jim Falls, Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory

April 2021

There’s plenty of chances to milk your annual leave in April thanks to the plenty of public holidays and weekends.

Book four days off from April 6th to the 9th and you’ll get 10 days off thanks to the Easter public holidays.

If you book April 27th to the 30th off, you will get 9 days off- thank you public holidays and weekends!

December 2021

It’s not even Christmas but if you want to get in early the best way to make the most of Christmas leave and not have to use up a lot of your annual leave

Book the 29th to the 31st of December and you’ll get 9 days off because the Christmas Day and Boxing Day public holidays move to Monday and Tuesday the week after.

We’ll definitely be using this trick to explore some of our favourite places in Aus, and some new ones too!
