The Disney+ figurines collected at Woolworths have been popular amongst kids but have also been labelled useless plastics destined for landfill by environmentalists. Mark Pace a fisherman from Mackay has proved just how useful the Ooshies can be after he posted a photo of his experimental rig on Facebook last week.

Two glow in the dark Ooshies lured at least one big Red Emporer. Mark is so convinced that he placed an offer beneath his post calling for spare glow in the dark Ooshies: “Happy to pay $1 each.”
