Outback Tourism About To Get A Boost With The New Roma Music Festival

0

After a devastating 2020, Outback Queensland is hurting for tourism and is looking for ways to bring in new visitors to the region. The owners, Barry and Felicity Walden, of Club Hotel, used to travel around Aus doing events and have found a new way to bring in more tourists to Roma

Mrs Walden said they chose March for the Roma Music Festival as it is around the other two big events in Roma

“We’re saying to people, come for a couple of weeks and enjoy the whole experience,” she said. “After all, where else are you going to go. You can’t go to Bali.”

Club Hotel is going to be home to the Roma Music Festival utilising the knowledge and equipment Barry and Felicity have gained over the years. Road To Roma is two days from 1 pm – 8 pm with Darlinghurst (an up and coming Melbourne band) headlining.
