0

We understand that not everyone can make it a big holiday every time the school break comes along, especially right now, but that doesn’t mean the Easter break has to be boring! Or maybe you are heading up to the Sunshine Coast for the first time and don’t want to only do pricey things. We have the perfect Sunshine Coast Easter plan for you. And importantly, most of these won’t break the bank or hurt the wallet.

Head To The Beach

Even if you live near a beach, heading to an unfamiliar one is still an exciting adventure for most kids. New rocks to climb, new places to eat and so much more! Some of our favourite beaches along the Sunshine Coast are Kings Beach in Caloundra, Coolum beach in Coolum and Noosa Main Beach in Noosa Heads, all are perfect for a beach day and a swim.

See Life At SeaLife In Mooloolaba

SeaLife is always a good choice for the kids as it teaches them some really cool things about the ocean and there’s so many interactive activities. Watch the seal show, touch some weird and wonderful things in the tidal touchpool. Pre-bookings are essential so make sure you book online!

Waterfall Explorin’ Kondalilla Falls In Montville

Kondalilla Falls at Montville is an epic waterfall that runs usually all year round with a swimming hole that is open for visitors. There’s a huge picnic area with tables and facilities perfect for an Easter egg hunt, and lunch before trekking to the falls. The walk is about 2km each way with a proper path and stairs closer to the waterfall.

Embrace The Animals At Australia Zoo

Another classic for Sunny Coasters is Australia Zoo, this national icon is truly a treat for everyone of all ages. From the shows at the crocoseum to the enclosures that allow the animals to enjoy plenty of space. Just like SeaLife, Australia Zoo is truly a learning experience, especially make sure you visit the Australian animals – there’s nothing like seeing a wombat waddle in person.
